Concept

Il triangolo come figura indeformabile è la base di ADÀMAS, termine greco che dapprima significò acciaio, ferro durissimo e solo dopo Aristotele si applicò alla pietra:
composto di "A" privativo e "DAMÀO" domare, quasi voglia dire indomabile.

The triangle with its innate resiliency constitutes the basis of Adamas, a greek word initially used to define ‘steel’, or hard iron, and later on, in the rhetoric of Greek philosopher Aristotle, was applied also to stone. The noun is composed by the privative prefix alpha (hence the "A") and the word "DAMÀO" meaning indomitable, and it is intended to define the extreme versatility of this production.
